Celestina Maria Cobzaru
A practicing lawyer since 2006, Celestina demonstrates extensive professional experience gained over the course of a solid and prestigious career, during which she has worked either as a partner in major national or multinational law firms—coordinating specialized litigation departments—or as the principal of her own law office.
As a litigator, Celestina is highly valued by her clients for her clear, structured, and direct approach—qualities that translate into the swift and efficient handling of court filings, as well as the seriousness and tenacity she demonstrates when arguing cases. Capable of devising a realistic and effective strategy for each individual case, Celestina represents her clients’ interests with maximum impact. Her excellent command of both substantive and procedural law gives her great confidence and poise in the courtroom; furthermore, her determination and vision often enable her to secure favorable outcomes for clients in higher courts—through the use of various remedies—even when the initial ruling was unfavorable.
Celestina has successfully represented clients in a wide range of complex disputes, particularly in the areas of administrative and tax litigation, the return of the ownership rights of certain buildings unjustly seized by the government during the communist era, land law, cases concerning building consolidation projects managed by A.M.C.C.R.S., applications to the ECHR, as well as in numerous disputes involving public procurement, urban planning law, labor law, medical malpractice, and commercial arbitration. Her past experience also includes securing favorable outcomes for clients in intellectual property disputes and representing client interests in insolvency proceedings.
Her in-depth knowledge of civil and commercial contract disputes, combined with her familiarity with FIDIC contract regulations, gives Celestina a strong practical understanding of potential issues related to the execution of the contracts; this expertise—complemented by her advanced knowledge of substantive law in these areas—makes her a highly precise and competent lawyer in litigation (including commercial arbitration) and contract drafting.
By consistently maintaining the highest level of transparency and honesty in client relations, Celestina always proposes solutions that are realistic given the actual circumstances; over time, this approach has fostered deep trust in her professional work. Her total dedication—once she is mandated to represent a client’s interests—provides the client with a solid assurance that their interests will be defended with firmness and determination.
